Greed (Ágirnd) Q&A - Nordic House

Screening of first Icelandic film directed by a woman “Ágirnd” (Greed) was directed in 1952 by an Icelandic director, Svala Hannesdottir. Banned for blasphemy 3 days after its premiere, the film, based on a play, is the first ever Icelandic film directed by a woman.
