A documentary about female composers in Icelandic culture, from the time of the settlement to the present day. The film discusses the theory that musical pieces titled “author unknown” are in fact composed by women.
Director: Dögg Móses studied directing in C.E.C.C. in Barcelona and has since directed award winning short films as well as documentaries, music videos, video art, animated web series, commercials and tv campaigns. She co-founded the production company Freyja Filmwork in 2016 and has worked as a director, editor and producer since for the company. Dögg is the co-author of two dramatic tv series and two feature films in development for different Icelandic production companies. Dögg is also the founder and director of the Northern Wave International Short Film Festival and was the president of Wift (Women in Film and Television) Iceland for from 2011 - 2018. She is now Iceland's representative on the board of Wift Nordic. Dögg is an alumna of Berlinale Talent Campus and Idfa Academy.
