About film: An animated take on woman's place in contemporary world. Inspired by reality and the media. "You are overreacting" is a hand-drawn animation that attempts to ask questions about the place of women in the modern reality. The film is (unfortunately) inspired by everyday life, statements of public figures, and the media.
About film: Moved and broken by the situation in our country, we, a group of female and male students from the Animation Department of Lodz Film School have decided to act. We strongly oppose the recent events in our country and it’s shameful that such a ruling has been pushed through especially during this extremely difficult pandemic. The Constitutional court has issued a ruling that will end legal termination of pregnancy for fetal anomaly. Many of us are afraid right now, this is why we want to express unity in a just cause. Instead of building more walls, we want to build something human. We hope to help tilt the balance. We encourage everyone from artistic circles and beyond to express objection, to act boldly despite the difficult time. Let’s be in this together.
A documentary about an unusual man or maybe a postulate of being usual. An animated philosophical treaty spoken with a common language of heart. The patient of life tells the story of his illness and depicts it with his own drawings. He saw a lot and spoke to important people. A beautiful war with Hungary is, among others, in the background.
About the film: The sunlight permeating through the window wakes up the protagonist who begins a colourful and impressionistic journey around the world. The woman tries to catch up with the sun, travelling over the seashores, succumbing to the rhythms of waves and light. This picturesque, ecumenical story pulsates with colours, hums with water and shines with positive energy. It is a film on the harmony of the world where everyday dance of the sun unites different religions, people of faraway continents and their attitudes.
About the film: The film portrays a story of a woman, who keeps on stumbling and falling in her daily rush. When she gets up, she discovers her house has quite unexpected attributes – it’s built from paradoxes and filled with illusions. Each of the parts tells a story of aiming for perfection and trying to fulfil yourself in a reality full of traps.
About the film: A Man and a Woman meet in a waiting room and immediately get closer to each other. They commence a game that gradually gets more and more ferocious.Their faces resemble masks while shapes slowly lose their integrity. Bodies are formed like clay, embracing each other until the limits of impossibility. „III” is a portrait of a woman in an exhausting relationship with a man, which allures and repulses at the same time. The film is the third part of the triptych “Impossible Figures and other stories”.
About film: Film is dedicated to the memory of Marek Serafinski, an animation filmmaker and producer, privately the director's husband. It is a graphic and sound diary created from everyday life paper waste: labels, tickets etc. and cigarette packages of one chain smoker, accumulated by one collector within six years. It shows the degree of addiction, determination and a kind of addiction of the collector as well as a passage of time in that strange symbiosis of their shared life.

exploration. Her fantasies come to life. But there’s also a darker
side of this game. Is it possible to become united with your own self?
